• Worksite Risk Analysis - Identification of workers at risk, health and safety hazards, and regulatory compliance. Our physician uses an Industrial Walk-Through CheckList, data analysis and research to identify these risks.
• Ergonomic Studies - Focuses specifically on workers, workspace, equipment and job tasks. Includes repetitive motion injuries.
• Educational Programs - Available programs include training and updates in the health and safety field, such as hearing conservation, hazard communication, blood-borne pathogen training and respiratory protection standards. In addition, we can conduct classes on injury prevention, proper lifting, posture and more. We can tailor an education program to your company's specific needs. Educating your employees on proper body positioning and overall fitness may reduce your injuries and therefore, your Workers Compensation Costs.
• Corporate Medical/Nursing Consultation - Includes Medical Review Officer services, support for medical, nursing, safety and human resource staff, assistance with medical and safety polices for OSHA compliance, assistance with policies for physical examinations, job descriptions, drug screenings, workers compensation injuries and illnesses, and complying with the American Disabilities Act and the Family Medical Leave Act.
• Environmental Exposure Assessment and Evaluation - Employees, industry and the public are increasingly concerned about the possibility of toxic exposure and illness from occupational activities. McLeod Occupational Health can perform workplace and process analyses to evaluate the risk, if any, of acute or chronic exposure to occupational materials or products. We can also provide assessment and treatment for individuals who may have had an adverse reaction to possible work place exposures.
