Neurology is a branch of medicine concerned with disorders of the nervous system. The nervous system controls activities in all parts of the body, and has two components; the Central Nervous System, which includes the brain and spinal cord, and the Peripheral Nervous System, which includes internal organs, muscles, and glands. The nervous system is responsible for sending and retrieving information to and from these areas.
