'I'm moving along and blessed to be up and around," says Gladys Miller, a recent occupational therapy patient of McLeod Home Health. "They come see you and take care of you. Yes, Lord, they were so good to me."
A great-grandmother of ten, Gladys worked right down the road from her home as a dietitian at North Vista Elementary School for 20 years. She retired in 1980 and spent the next 20 years watching her family grow, from children to grandchildren and great-grandchildren. When her arthritis became debilitating, she turned to McLeod Home Health for occupational therapy to alleviate the pain so she could continue taking care of herself.
Gladys's husband, King, also received care for two years from McLeod Home Health before his passing in 2000. "They were very helpful to us and kept us going. Home Health provided plenty of assistance to me and him. They are so important to people in this county."
