An Evening of Hope Cancer Benefit Dinner 10/22/09
2009 An Evening of Hope Cancer Benefit Dinner will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at the Country Club of SC in Florence SC. The funds raised from this event are used to support services of the McLeod Cancer Center for Treatment and Research. This year’s keynote address will be provided by Dr. Ann Kulze. As a physician, Dr. Ann Kulze is on a personal crusade to share with as many people as possible the joys of living well. She is a nationally recognized expert and motivational speaker in the areas of nutrition, healthy lifestyles and disease prevention. As a gifted teacher with unrivaled credibility and passion, Dr. Ann transforms all of the “new science” of healthy living into programs that are simple, easy and fun!

The Fourth Annual Festival of Trees is scheduled for November 9 through 20, 2009 at the McLeod Medical Plaza, Florence, SC. Funds raised from Festival of Trees will make a difference in the lives of more than 26,000 sick and injured children treated at McLeod Children's Hospital.
The Festival of Trees will showcase decorated trees, wreaths, mantle decorations, and centerpieces in a week-long silent auction. To kick off the event, we will welcome families to Dine with Santa at Santa's Kitchen that will include activities and crafts, breakfast, story time with Mrs. Claus and pictures with Santa. The week will conclude with the spectacular Festival of Trees Gala.
The Festival of Trees will continue to raise funds to support many new and ongoing programs and services at McLeod Children's Hospital. With the tremendous efforts of hundreds of volunteers, sponsors, and our talented designers, we will be able to offer you the sights and sounds of the holiday season. But more importantly, we offer you the opportunity to make a difference in the life of a child.
