McLeod Pediatric Subspecialists was established in 1992. McLeod currently has four pediatric sub specialists, encompassing pediatric critical care, pediatric cardiology, pediatric endocrinology, and pediatric orthopedic surgery. In addition, McLeod works with community pediatric subspecialists in the fields of developmental pediatrics, pediatric neurology and pediatric allergy/immunology. McLeod is also joined by satellite clinics from the Medical University of South Carolina in the fields of pediatric nephrology, pediatric hematology and oncology. Pediatric neurology and pediatric allergy/immunology are also available.
Before this group formed, patients and their families had to travel out of the area to receive the specialized pediatric care that is now provided locally. We continue to strive for excellence in pediatric care and look forward to being joined by additional pediatric subspecialists in the future.
McLeod Children's Hospital is proud to have these physicians serving the children of the Pee Dee region. Before this group formed, patients and their families had to travel out of the area to receive the specialized pediatric care that is now provided locally.
