McLeod volunteers make a meaningful difference everyday to our patients, visitors and staff. These dedicated men and women work in all areas of the medical center, donating hundreds of hours each month. We offer volunteer placements at our reception desks, critical care waiting areas, gift shops, Children's Hospital and many other exciting departments.

If you are interested in becoming a McLeod Volunteer, please call the Volunteer Services office at (843) 777-2082 or download the McLeod Volunteer Application and a SC Law Enforcement background check form.

Once you complete the two forms, please return them to the Volunteer Services office in the McLeod Pavilion Tower (first floor) or mail the completed forms to McLeod Volunteer Services, P.O. Box 100551, Florence, SC 29502-0551.

The McLeod Volunteer Office will contact you when they receive your application and background check form. Please also include a letter from your physician stating that you are physically able to perform volunteer duties. All new volunteers are also required to attend an orientation session which is offered each Monday from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm.
