The recently renovated pharmacy department provides 24-hour service with over 60 employees.  Over one-third of the pharmacists employed have completed post-graduate residency training.  Use of a decentralized pharmacy model facilitates close collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals, emphasizing the concept of pharmaceutical care.  The pharmacy department enjoys a supportive atmosphere with a focus on continuing education and staff development.  Pharmacists also have the opportunity to participate in multi-disciplinary committees focused on enhancing innovative medical and pharmacy practices at McLeod.
